Virgin Killer is an all-female Heavy Metal band from Cali, Colombia (Southamerica). This musical project came from several years ago by lead guitarists Angela Garcia and Shirley Lopez.

Virgin Killer is an all-female Heavy Metal band from Cali, Colombia (Southamerica). This musical project came from several years ago by lead guitarists Angela Garcia and Shirley Lopez.
They took part in BlackMamba (an all-female successful Rock and Roll local band) and in early days they were with bands like Deep Rock and Luna Rain. In 2010, BlackMamba announced about a stand-by time, but not a split-up. It was because of personal and academical reasons from some of their members.
Then Angela and Shirley restarted Virgin Killer idea. Patricia Prado joined the bass guitar from Queens Of Fire (All-female Hard Rock band), La Posho – Lizette Camacho came after in drums and for the last time, Liceth entered Virgin Killer on vocals (She took part in Apology, a Heavy Metal band from Pradera, Valle). Their rehearsal sessions began with their own songs that Angela and Shirley had before BlackMamba’ s era. From now, Virgin Killer are planning new live dates and to enter studio to record their first demo cd.
Most of their musical influences came from NWOBHM / speed metal bands (Male or female).
VIRGIN KILLER were chosen as one of national guest acts to open for Doro Pesch gig in Bogotá on april 2011.
Their first recording is a split-tape with Lucifera from Pasto – Colombia, by WitchHammer Productions (Thailand) as a limited edition of 250 worldwide copies. They first demo cd will be released soon in Colombia.

Problems in Nightmare Angel

Big problems in the all-female japanese act Nightmare Angel, as all but Nora have decided to leave the band.
Since April, they decided to head to different directions:
- Asaki is going to France
- Yukari will be part of the “Sunday’s band” for 7th Heaven (http://www.7thheavenkoza.com)
- Kayo will continue to be drummer for Wood factor (http://www.myspace.com/woodfactor)
and Glory In Treason (http://www.myspace.com/thegloryintreason)
- Nora will begin to look for new band members
