Hovario is an all girl band formed in 2003, influenced by bands such as Kittie, Korn, Mudvayne, Pantera, Otep, Fear Factory, Slipknot, Metallica and others. The current lineup features the following members: LuH, Gra and Dan.

Biography:
Hovario is an all girl band formed in 2003, influenced by bands such as Kittie, Korn, Mudvayne, Pantera, Otep, Fear Factory, Slipknot, Metallica and others. The current lineup features the following members: LuH, Gra and Dan. The band became a trio at the end of 2008, when the guitarist and vocalist Viviane left the band.

Vivi and Gra founded the band in 2003, and until 2005 the band had many different formations and a musical genre totally different that it haves now.

Hovario has performed in many events in the Underground scene, such as “Grito do Rock” (Scream of Rock) which is programmed every year in some regions of Brazil and Latin America, at “Festival Interlude”, reaching the second place in the event, and most recently they played in the “Festival de Rock Feminino” (Festival Female Rock) in Rio Claro. This female metal trio has also performed as OTEP’s opening act in Rio de Janeiro.

“Ultra – Som” (Ultra – Sound) was the first and independent band’s album (featuring 10 tracks), and they currently working on the next LP. Two songs of this new album, “Self Control” and “It Dies Today”, have already been performed in some concerts.

Virgin Killer is an all-female Heavy Metal band from Cali, Colombia (Southamerica). This musical project came from several years ago by lead guitarists Angela Garcia and Shirley Lopez.

Virgin Killer is an all-female Heavy Metal band from Cali, Colombia (Southamerica). This musical project came from several years ago by lead guitarists Angela Garcia and Shirley Lopez.

They took part in BlackMamba (an all-female successful Rock and Roll local band) and in early days they were with bands like Deep Rock and Luna Rain. In 2010, BlackMamba announced about a stand-by time, but not a split-up. It was because of personal and academical reasons from some of their members.

Then Angela and Shirley restarted Virgin Killer idea. Patricia Prado joined the bass guitar from Queens Of Fire (Another all-female Heavy and Hard Rock band, the first that appeared in Cali), La Posho – Lizette Camacho came after in drums and for the last time, Liceth entered Virgin Killer on vocals (She took part in Apology, a Heavy Metal band from Pradera, Valle). Their rehearsal sessions began with their own songs that Angela and Shirley had before BlackMamba’ s era. From now, Virgin Killer are planning new live dates and to enter studio to record their first demo cd.

Problems in Nightmare Angel

Big problems in the all-female japanese act Nightmare Angel, as all but Nora have decided to leave the band.

Since April, they decided to head to different directions:

- Asaki is going to France
- Yukari will be part of the “Sunday’s band” for 7th Heaven (http://www.7thheavenkoza.com)
- Kayo will continue to be drummer for Wood factor (http://www.myspace.com/woodfactor)
and Glory In Treason (http://www.myspace.com/thegloryintreason)
- Nora will begin to look for new band members

Biography:
Thunderbox is a New York all-metal tribute band, blasting out the hardest hits from the best of classic metal.

The band is composed by for musicians from the East Coast with long experience in metal and rock bands. Vocalist Rhonnie Stile joins again her sister Gina (formerly of Vixen, Poison Dollys) as they did in Envy. The rhythm section is formed by bass player Sammy D. Evil (of Nassau Chainsaw, Jungle Junkies, Shira Girl) and Natalie Mustang (formerly of Mustang Cobra, Sasquatch & the Sick-A-Billys) beats the drums.

Their set list currently consists of classics such as “Ace Of Spades” (Motörhead), “It’s So Easy” (Guns n’ Roses), “Run To The Hills” (Iron Maiden), “Breakin’ The Law” (Judas Priest), “Magic Man” (Heart), “Twist Of Cain” (Danzig), “Edge Of 17″ (Stevie Nicks), “Seek & Destroy” (Metallica), “Live Wire” and “Beating Around The Bush” (AC/DC), among others.
