Biography:
A Metal Goddess from the cold Northeast USA, Lilith Astaroth has been making ears bleed since ’97. Born and raised in Boston, MA, she began her first band at age 15 as singer and guitarist. Since then, she has released several solo works, and has lent her voice and performed live with many different projects throughout New England including Sorrowseed, Mostri, and Pandora’s Toybox. Her primary style of screaming combines low guttural growling and high-pitched shrieking and is often compared to vocalists Dani Filth, and Angela Gossow. Using a combination of inhalation and exhalation screams, she is able to produce a vast array of sounds with her voice. With a love of performing on stage, each live show is a ferocious display of intensity.

In 2010, Lilith began to explore clean singing in the soprano range. In 2011, her first recording with this new addition to her vocal repertoire was a tribute to Peter Steele – a cover of Type O Negative’s “Christian Woman”, which was very widely revered by her audience.

Later in 2011, Lilith announced her involvement as lead singer of Nemesis Engine, a hybrid of ex-Sorrowseed and ex-Theogonia members. She has also announced upcoming involvement with other projects including a groove metal band with former bandmate Chris Adamcek, and an electronic collaboration with digital songstress, Amber Ladd.

With her outspoken love for traveling and being on the road, keep an eye out for possible appearances in a city near you.

The UnioN is a female solo project created by Azul Far, a dedicated musician that found her passion in metal and electronic music on her teenager years, when she started playing electric guitar.

Since then she started several projects along with other musicians, also attending to music schools. but school did not really fulfill her musical needs, nor did the bands or projects she belonged to.

Then, after moving finally to Denver, CO, she found at last the space and time she needed, away from people and family to create what is now The Union.

The project began in 2008, and started recording the album in summer of 2009 at Virtual Studio in Denver CO., finalizing in winter of this year, 2011.

Blackthorn is an all-female symphonic metal band that was founded in 2004 by the lead vocalist Aina. The band combines gothic and mainly black metal with classical elements. The band entered the studio in 2005 to record 3 songs for their first demo, “The Prologue of Eschaton”. Mixed and master by Israeli band Arafel, the demo’s self-released in January 2007.

Biography:
Blackthorn is an all-female symphonic metal band that was founded in 2004 by the lead vocalist Aina. The band combines gothic and mainly black metal with classical elements, and entered the studio in 2005 to record 3 songs for their first demo, “The Prologue of Eschaton”. Mixed and master by Israeli band Arafel, the demo’s self-released in January 2007. The second track of the demo was included in the Metal World Compilation Vol.3 CD, released in Venezuela.

Shortly after releasing “The Prologue of Eschaton” Blackthorn returned to the studio to record 10 songs for their first full-length album “Gossamer Witchcraft” and its twin-brother a Russian language version of “Gossamer Witchcraft” called “Araneum”. Both albums were mixed and mastered in KIV records Studio,Moscow, in the beginning of 2009.

2009 saw Blackthorn sign a contract with English label Ravenheart Records and released “Gossamer Witchcraft” through them. “Araneum” was released in December 2009 through Moscow label Musica Production. On Februry 4, 2010, Blackthorn announced they signed another contract, this time with a digital UK label Hunter’s Moon. It released a special digital version of the “Gossamer Witchcraft” that includes 2 tracks sung in Russian. The album’s been available on iTunes since 2/1/10.

The band have played approximately 80 gigs in Russian Federation,Ukraine and Estonia, sharing stages with Cryptopsy, Sadist, Grave, Naumachia, Vedonist, Kivimetsan Druidi,HATE and Vesania. Blackthorn have previously appeared at the international metal festival Metal Heads Mission X.

The band released their second album, “Codex Archaos” at the end of 2011.

Fatima Tajic’s solo project, who after playing in several bands decided to unleash her creativity without restraints and impositions. A guitar student since she was very young, she didn’t decide to exploit their skills until the age of 15, after discovering the great “Disintegration” album by The Cure.

She regained the electric guitar and began to create her own riffs, never leaving the gloom that inspired Robert Smiths’s band. She joined several gothic and death bands, playing the guitar and singing. Her most serious and long experience was being part of Atavisma, with whom she spent a year and a half.

But Fatima was determined to find her own sound, and decided to fly alone. Cadukeya born in 2005, developing a gothic ambiented style that mixes melancholy with guitar riffs.

Black Widows has been over ten years fighting to gain a spot in the scene. With a style marked by the combination of gothic and black metal, it has been the victim of many lineup changes. In fact they are looking for a drummer to fill the vacant left by Ana Costa.

Black Widows has been over ten years fighting to gain a spot in the scene. With a style marked by the combination of gothic and black metal, it has been the victim of many lineup changes.

The worst moment for the band was when the drummer Carla Marques died suddenly in 1999. Black Widows were about to give up, but eventually continued their way.

Because of their commitment, they got contracted by the Portuguese label Recital Records in 2000, with whom they recorded two years after their first and only LP so far, “Sweet … The Hell”. Six years had passed since their first demo, recorded in five hours.

In “Sweet … The Hell”, Gunter Theys, from Ancient Rites, lends his vocals on “Life’s wish” and “Awaken”.
