Biography:
Thunderbox is a New York all-metal tribute band, blasting out the hardest hits from the best of classic metal.

The band is composed by for musicians from the East Coast with long experience in metal and rock bands. Vocalist Rhonnie Stile joins again her sister Gina (formerly of Vixen, Poison Dollys) as they did in Envy. The rhythm section is formed by bass player Sammy D. Evil (of Nassau Chainsaw, Jungle Junkies, Shira Girl) and Natalie Mustang (formerly of Mustang Cobra, Sasquatch & the Sick-A-Billys) beats the drums.

Their set list currently consists of classics such as “Ace Of Spades” (Motörhead), “It’s So Easy” (Guns n’ Roses), “Run To The Hills” (Iron Maiden), “Breakin’ The Law” (Judas Priest), “Magic Man” (Heart), “Twist Of Cain” (Danzig), “Edge Of 17″ (Stevie Nicks), “Seek & Destroy” (Metallica), “Live Wire” and “Beating Around The Bush” (AC/DC), among others.

Biography:
The band Vision was founded in Stockholm, Sweden by guitarist Mary in 2006. The band took its early form at the music and film organization “No Remorse” and has evolved since then to a trademark in Hard Rock and 70′s/80′s Metal.

Through the years some member changes has been done but the core of the guitarist Mary and singer Queen B has remained intact since they reformed the band together 2007 with a change of sound to a more eigthies approach.

Vision has played much live both in Stockholm/Sweden and abroad. Several videos has been made to promote the band. The song Sleep When I’m Dead was choosen to be the swedish soccer team LdB FC’s promotional song for the 2009 season. And the video for the song Bury You Alive has attracted a lot of attention in places such as the website of classic Rock magazine.

In 2010 Vision was put on ice for a while due to musical reasons. All of the members are playing in some new thriving projects. Emlee and Mary has the band Frantic Amber together with three new girls and Mona, Queen B, Emlee and Jennie have the new band Spitchic.

Biography:
Imber is a young band heading from Sweden, featuring an original sound and way of understanding music. Their promising trip started in 2009, but due to some member changes the first solid lineup shall be dated in February 2010.

Drummer Lea Larsson is the mind behind Imber, and it’s been her persistence which has lead the band to exist the way it does. She wanted to form a talented all-female band to inspire young metal girls and push them starting their own bands. With this idea in mind, Lea auditioned about 40 guitarists and bass players until finding the current ones.

Their sound is an original blend of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock with doses of their country trademarked sound, Melodic Death Metal. This mixture of melody and aggressiveness is embodied in their first and self-titled demo.

Biography:
In 2008 guitarist Mary founded Frantic Amber with the idea to have a band that could deliver more attitude and brute force than what is normally seen in all-girls-band.

Members has changed several times since then and also Frantic Amber’s sound. The original sound in 2008 was hardrock meeting metal with only clean vocals. Now the sound has turned much heavier; now with mainly growl vocals and with much more metal sounding riffs and drum playing.

In late 2008 the band started a quest for a true female metal singer for Frantic Amber.
And in 2009 Frantic Amber finally found a true metal vocalist in Elizabeth from Denmark, and since there was no point in wasting time the band recorded a few promosongs with her.

In late 2009 fate would have it so that Mary and Elizabeth were the only two members still active in the band but thanks to those recorded songs they were now able to shift into a higher gear to look for band members. This time things went pretty well and within a couple of months the line-up was completed with three talented metal girls of different origins. Sandra [bass] from Norway, Emlee [drums] from Sweden and Mio [lead guitar] from Japan joined Frantic Amber together with Mary and Elizabeth, delivering just the right attitude that was intended from the very start.

Frantic Amber is by all means an international all-female metal band and the homebase is in Stockholm/Sweden.

Biography:
Eterna Ansiedad wasn’t originally conceived as an all-female act, but after several unsuccessful experiences the vocalist and founder Yesica Castelo rightly chose this path.

Their first incarnation came in November 2005, with the perennial Yesi as its soul and voice, and Gonzo, Juanu and Ripp completed the alignment of the band then called “Gaze Of Nemesis”

By mid-2006, in a trio format (Jesse, Gonzo and new bassist Kique), they were renamed as Eterna Ansiedad and started composing their own songs and covering progressive, classical and neoclassical metal bands such as Stratovarius, Dream Theater, Angra and Sonata Arctica.

The difficulty of finding drummers and keyboardists forced the band to perform their songs acoustically, as collected in their first demo and live performances under the title of “Acoustic Neoclassical Night”

The first own song recorded at Tiki Tiki Records estudios was “Sin Poder Continuar” (“Unable to Continue”), but who really were unable to continue were Pablo, Jorge and Kike who left the ship in late 2006.

The following two years saw the coming and going of components, and two new songs “Necesito Ganar” and “Pruebas”. Even so, they were not enough to keep the band cohesion and in June 2008 Eterna Ansiedad closed its first chapter.

Yesi overcame a difficult year, and in September 2009 decided to reform and search for female musicians. Martina, Samanta and Gabriela answered the call, thus giving rise to one of the more stable lineups of the Argentinean band.

Since then Eterna Ansiedad have gone stage after stage performing their songs and getting ready to record a new demo.

Biography:
The project was started in June 2008 by two guitarists, Marta & Deborah, after meeting up at a Paul Gilbert clinic in Parma.

It was time to search for the rest of components. The first to came in was Nicole, who fitted perfectly as the band vocalist.

Nicole was trying to make an all-female band too with the bassist Alice, who in fact joined Wox too. It was just the drummer left, and after an email search, Silvia was the chosen one.

By August 2008 the band was complete, and currently they are showing their skills at several stages around Italy.

Biography:
Las Brujas are considered the first Argentine metal band composed entirely of girls. It was formed in 1987 by Gabriela Folgueras, who since then would be the rhythm guitarist of the formation.

After several lineup changes, it came the solidity with Silvia Gers as lead guitar and vocals, Alex Bass on bass and Ysa Sierra behind the patches.

Its principles were hard rock, but they were gradually transformed into a pure metal band.

After several demos and concerts in various locations in Argentina, in mythical places of the metal scene such as “Halley” or “Cemento” sharing the stage with bands the likes of Los Violadores, Kamikaze, Letal, El Reloj o Hermética, they got their first record contract.

The company who put an eye on them was Barca, with whom Las Brujas released “Me Llaman La Loca” in 1989, a record where also contributed Laura Giarruso at bass.

The LP, released on cassette and vinyl, was so well received that in 1990 the fans voted Las Brujas as the best new band in “Metal” Magazine. It consisted of eight own songs and a spanish version of the classic “Johnny Be Good”.

But in 1991 Silvia Gers left the band. Her departure and the problems with the record label led Las Brujas to disband at the end of 1992.

Biography:
Mab born in Sardinia, Italy, from Psycho Jeremy (bass and vocals) and Jecky (drums).

Created as an all-female band since the beginning, it’s been a rule never broken even they suffered some lineup changes. They moved to London and started playing in small venues, that became bigger as did they popularity. Their hard work led them to open for Him at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2004.

Mab toured the UK with Breed 77, before going back to Italy to record a tribute song to a remarkable italian singer and artist called Giuni Russo.

The next big step for the band was to collaborate with Franco Battiato, singing 3 songs recorded at the Olympic Studios in London, and one for his movie “Niente e’ come sembra” (2007) which also sees MAB taking part as actresses.

After this Mab had a huge exposure in Italy; they in fact took part as guests together with F.Battiato to the greatest Italian Music event broadcasted worldwide called “Sanremo”, many other TV performances and finally a 2 months long Summer Tour in Italy followed by a Winter Tour in the most beautiful theatres in Italy and Spain.

Mab performed also at the Heineken Jamming Festival and played a special gig in honour of film Icon David Lynch after his conference about Transcendental Meditation that took place in Palermo in 2007.

After a short hiatus, Mab turned back to the stages with a new lineup, and passing from a quartet formation to a trio, keeping the Psycho Jeremy/Jecky core and addind new guitarist Elisa.

The first European Iron Maiden’s all-female tribute band, born in May 2008 from a common devotion to classic heavy metal.

In 2009 the band stabilized on current line-up after many changes. Being a quintet, they remain loyal to the original Iron Maiden formation, and are spreading Eddie’s word and music across the transalpine stages.

Biography:
Susan Wendelken and Urith Myre had already met at late nineties in a New York-based band called One Step Beyond. After parting ways they decided to contact the guitarist from the hardcore act Perseverance, Meredith Hermann, and Neutron Cafe’s drummer, “Gee” (Gina Ilasi) to form a cover band. Meredith contributed to the jams with songs discarded by her former band, which ended up becoming the first songs with the Dormitory Effect’s seal.

Gradually the original creations were displacing the covers, to finally have enough material to record a CD, “Wealth Of The Disease”. After its release they entered into a self-promotion, gigs and mixed events vortex. Without even realising it, it came 2007 without new songs to feed their music.

They forced themselves to compose, and soon their new creatures were born, “RJ”, “Hand That Feeds”, “To Belong” and “The Star You Are”. These songs bring a more aggressive touch to their alternative metal, to bring it closer to thrash, and they are working to release them in a CD very soon.
