Biography:
Scarlet Sins is a canadian quartet that alternates hard rock with modern touches progressive, not in vain among their influences they include A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Tool and Alice In Chains.

The base of the formation was conceived in 2004 when an encounter between Cristina Bishop and Sylvya NuVynska led to the idea of creating a bar. For completeness, Tanya Nicklaus joined on bass and finally the drummer Elie Bertrand.

The lineup was already complete and ready to record their self-titled debut album, which encompasses various styles within metal. It was produced by Richard Chycki, who had worked with bands such as Rush, Aerosmith and Simple Plan.

After the release the album, Scarlet Sins has gained recognition, leading the Powerbox Festival in Seattle, sharing the stage with Doro Pesch, Vixen and Kittie. They have also opened for Buckcherry, Cypress Hill, Ill Scarlett, Helix, April Wine and Anvil. But undoubtedly they most important performance was opening for Motley Crue, chosen by the Crues themselves, in front 16,000 people.

The band was preparing a new album (and had an international management company, Aucoin Globe), when they decided to call it a quit on November 2009 due to differences during its creation. Read the farewell message here.
