Biography:
The Amorettes are an all female trio of the classic rock and roll persuasion. Gill and Hannah met at music college bonding over a love of old school rock n roll, after a few line up changes Heather, Hannah’ s sister, was brought in on bass to complete the band.

Gigging since March 2009, these girls have travelled all over Scotland and released their first ten track album “Haulin’ Ass” (which Classic Rock magazine gave 8/10) on May 2009, after seven months of work.

The scottish trio supported Dave Evans, former singer of AC/DC, in the Glasgow gig of his first UK tour on June 2009.

Spawned from the same gene pool and influenced by ‘DC’s fat riffs, Van Halen’s non stop energy and the deafening power of Airbourne. Hard hitting, fast thinking, these girls are here to prove they mean business.

Lineup:
Gill Montgomery – Vocals, Guitar
Heather McKay – Bass, Vocals
Hannah McKay – Drums, Vocals

Discography:
2010, “Haulin’ Ass” (LP)
