History: 2004 – Present
Style: Tribute/Hard Rock
ThundHerStruck has performed worldwide, spreading the gospel of “Let There Be Rock” to audiences all the way from their home base of Los Angeles to the deserts of Iraq. For nearly 5 years, ThundHerStruck has been performing at a variety of events, including military tours, national and international festivals, fundraisers, trade shows, bike shows, corporate events, casinos, just to name a few. Rather than concentrating their efforts on any one of the two eras in AC/DC history (the “Bon Scott era” or the “Brian Johnson era”), ThundHerStruck plays material from both with equal energy and passion.
They released their CD, “You’ve Been ThundHerStruck,” in May of 2006 to rave reviews, with one review stating, “ThundHerStruck’s CD not only manages to capture the raw edge of AC/DC, but also the bands own unique power and sound as well.” Another review states, “Check out this CD and you’ll know why they say ThundHerStruck’s got the biggest balls of them all!”
ThundHerStruck has been the recipients of many music awards including best tribute band, best in category (vocals, guitar, bass and drums), and best tribute CD from several prestigious music award shows. Individually, this band contains extremely accomplished and professional musicians, and collectively they make up one of the most respected and sought after tribute bands in the world.
